How to work toward it

Build a reliable endgame setup through quests, Revolution upgrades and crafting. Use Boss Cooldowns to plan Ascended encounters, contribute to the fight and check the mailbox afterward. The five Sovereigns share the six-piece Abyssal reward pool. A particular piece is a chance drop, not a guaranteed first-kill reward.

Helmet and armor

Abyssal Helmet has 47,250 armor, 21% magic healing and 19% rune healing. Abyssal Armor has 47,250 armor and 10% critical-hit chance. Choose healing or critical specialization according to your role; they solve different problems.

Worked example
Abyssal Helmet Abyssal Helmet47,250 armor · 21% magic healing · 19% rune healing
Abyssal Armor Abyssal Armor47,250 armor · 10% critical-hit chance

Native Abyssal attributes before other applicable effects.

Legs and boots

Abyssal Legs have 47,250 armor and 38% magic damage. Abyssal Boots have 47,250 armor and 36% rune damage. Read which damage category your attacks use rather than assuming either bonus affects every attack.

Worked example
Abyssal Legs Abyssal Legs47,250 armor · 38% magic damage
Abyssal Boots Abyssal Boots47,250 armor · 36% rune damage
Match the damage category

Magic and rune damage are separate bonuses; choose for the attacks you actually use.

Shield

Abyssal Shield has 64,800 defense, 7% dodge and 19% all-damage absorption. Its defensive focus is useful when survival limits your progress. Compare the whole equipped setup because protection and other combat limits still apply.

Abyssal Shield Abyssal Shield64,800 defense · 7% dodge · 19% all-damage absorption

Compare survival across your whole equipment setup.

Amulet

Abyssal Amulet has 3% dodge, 9% weapon damage, 9% magic damage, 6% rune damage, 6% magic healing and 5% rune healing. It remains a normal-stat accessory without damage resistance. Its Awakening requirement is 250; do not assume every item called Abyssal qualifies for +16 upgrades.

Worked example
Abyssal Amulet Abyssal Amulet3% dodge · 9% weapon / magic damage · 6% rune damage / magic healing · 5% rune healing
The accessory is a separate decision

Its base Awakening requirement is 250, so the Abyssal name alone does not make it eligible for +16.

What changed

All six pieces' native combat attributes were increased by 35%, rounding whole-number bonuses upward. These are base values before other applicable effects. Weight and equip requirements were not increased. The set has no automatic full-set bonus.

Upgrades and restrictions

Check each piece's current equip requirement in Cyclopedia. +16–20 eligibility requires a base Awakening requirement of at least 500. Rarity and spirits are separate investments. Endgame mirror restrictions still apply. Consult Equipment Upgrades and Ascendant Spirits before spending your rare drop.

Keep a practical target

Choose the goal first, then compare one slot. For a magic-damage build, the legs may strengthen your main attack while giving up other useful attributes from your current legs. For a healer, the helmet may reinforce healing while sacrificing broader bonuses. Count every attribute you lose as well as the focused bonus you gain. Mix individual Abyssal pieces with balanced equipment when that serves your build; collecting and equipping the entire set is not a progression requirement.
